'Stop' - Talking Rubbish Bin

Streets Alive is proud to present as a part of our permanent installations: 2 functional sculptures outside the Studio at the Inveresk Rstop_Binailyards.

The STOP Talking Sculptural Rubbish Bin: designed by Launceston artist Ross Byers and fabricated by the Launceston Student Workshop. The Audio  is triggered by state of the art  motion sensor coupled with  the Arduino  duemilanove module -  engineered by Paul Alting.  The  audio talking component is solar powered.

The audio component of STOP will be workshopped as a part of the Streets Alive program to record responses of what STOP means to different people - e.g. Stop be creative, STOP Bullying - Stop and look around, etc.

WANTED: Audio responses (MP3) to what STOP means to you.
