Animal Menagerie Year 5 students from Scotch Oakburn College created their sculptures following an inspirational visit to "Menagerie" an exhibition of contemporary indigenous sculptures at QVMAG. The students worked with newspaper, tape, wire and paint to create their interpretations of Australian animals which they had researched. The installation of our sculptures into unexpected spaces creates an element of surprise and changes how we look at the space for a moment. I think it helps us to view the sculptures, you really notice them because they are in a different place.
