Your space, my space, our space, leg space, headspace, breathing space, outer space, imaginary space, public space, body space...space is shrinking and we aim to reclaim it!
Join Streets Alive Youth Arts Festival as it reclaims Launceston's most popular public spaces and coverts it into a gallery celebrating art from schools and studios. The 2010 Streets Alive Arts trail will reclaim public spaces to interact and inspire in a way which is not detrimental to the city as it transforms our laneways into a gallery to exhibit artwork by young artists.
We are calling for Expressions of Interest from people from all walks of life, including students, artists, teachers, or anyone else interested in the arts to pitch in and play with their creative side. So come join us as we reclaim our public spaces. You can be a part of our programmed projects or submit your own project for the Streets Alive Youth Arts Festival.
